    The page having for subject: "L'inspection des propriétés à revenu". /"The inspection of revenue properties" has been added in French.

    In fact, it is about all the information that an experienced building inspector can gather by the visual inspection of the exterior of buildings.

    Often, for small improvement costs, a property owner can save on the periodical repairs of the brick walls and on heating costs.
    The owner may even be able to avoid changing older windows by doing very simple modification to the window sills.

    The French version : "Pourquoi les murs ancien était si épais"/ "Why ancient walls where so thick" is now available in French. Materials used where different. During the centuries, granite blocks have always been used for walls, columns, arches and abutment arches.

    Today, these building still exist and must be maintained, improved and modernized.
    Higher the building where, thicker the walls had to be, made of stone or brick.
